Because college…can be alot!

Therapy for College Students

Whatever the path of college looks like for you…

My therapeutic approach to supporting college students is based in authentic shared lived experience. While college and post-high school can be an exciting time full of new environments, independence and freedom…it can also be one of life’s hardest transitions. From the course load, anxiety in class, balancing social life with academics, stress management, identity formation, dating and relationships, making friends or struggling with navigating friendships…it can be a lot to process.

Common Areas of focus:

  • Anxiety: social, generalized

  • Depression: loneliness, confusion

  • Body Image/Comparison

  • Perfectionism

  • Stress and Time Management

  • Relationships: sexual health, consent, dating culture shift in college

  • Friendships

  • Identity: Who am I?

  • Grief: maybe this isn’t what you were expecting

  • Substance Use: vaping, party culture, finding the balance

Many of my clients are facing hard things alone for the first time; whether that is anxiety getting to class, struggling with feelings of loneliness or rejection, questioning your values and who you are, trying to make the “right” decisions, navigating what comes next, and finding the balance between social and academic fulfillment! I’m here to provide you a space to work through it without judgment, I’ve been there, I get it, let’s talk about it.
